Senegal’s digital weakness

A new infographic from VuBlog which takes an in-depth look at the status of connections in a given African country. This time it is the turn of Senegal, which still shows relatively low levels of connectivity. The dissemination of broadband in particular is still not particularly widespread. According to the International Telecommunications Union, high-speed mobile data has a penetration rate of 26% while landline data falls below 1%. Unsurprisingly, the Alliance for Affordable Internet, which measures the degree of accessibility to the network worldwide only gives Senegal 32.5 points, placing it in 41st place (out of 51 countries).
