Four events to report in the monthly review dedicated to the main events from the world of TLC and ICT. Events start on the 6th and 7th December with Capacity Asia, one of the most important continental conferences and, also on the same day “Telecoms law and regulation in the Middle East” in Dubai. Two events dedicated to the Internet of Things are Smart City Summit and IoT Investors Day.
Capacity Asia 2016
Hong Kong will be the host city for what proposes to be Asia’s leading event dedicated to the business of telecommunications. On the 6th and 7th December the oriental city expects to welcome over 500 executives representing more than 200 companies worldwide; the conference will be a meeting point between the carriers and providers of cloud, OTT and data centre services.
Telecoms law and regulation in the Middle East
Event scheduled for the 6th and 7th December in Dubai. The telecommunications industry will see future challenges that not only concern technical innovations but also legal innovations. The new technologies, in fact, especially those linked to big data and the Internet of Things, require new and efficient regulations on the protection of privacy and sensitive data. An issue that will be at the very heart of the event in question.
Smart Cities Summit
From Dubai to Boston, the event focusing on smart cities, will be held on the 6th and 7th December. The smart automated metropoles of the future are one of the business segments on which players in the technology industry are increasingly focusing attention. The debate will focus around two strands: the creation of virtuous synergies between public and private and the monetisation of this technological innovation.
IoT investors day
The other big event of the month dedicated to the Internet of Things will be hosted in Bengaluru, India, on the 9th December. A summit that will bring together the industry’s leading experts, in a country that has, for some time now, been considered one of the most innovative and cutting-edge in the field of IoT.
