Unlocking mobiles in rural areas to enhance development

GSMA has published a report dedicated to the development of the mobile Internet network in rural areas: Unlocking Rural Coverage. The Association claims that mobile connections are a key driving force of development, which can significantly accelerate the GDP of less developed countries. To do this, however, 3G and 4G coverage must be increased in rural areas where the majority of the population of those nations live. VuBlog has an infographic with a summary of the key findings from the GSMA study.
